Elastic Travel

The PX offers the most elastic travel available (25 mm, up to 50% more than other bindings).  This exceptional elastic travel ensures better shock and vibration absorption.  It also allows precise setting of the release value, limiting the risk of unwanted release without compromising quick binding release in dangerous situations.

Full Drive Toe Piece

The Full Drive toe piece, a Look exclusive, offers multidirectional release and optimum vertical and horizontal elastic travel to guarantee maximum protection in all conditions and every type of fall.

The Full Drive toe piece also delivers exceptional precision and lateral support, thanks to superior boot grip (contact point on upper and sole) and to the AFC Plus platform.

Together the technology of the Full Drive toe piece combined with that of the heel piece actively ensure maximum skier protection.

Active Energy Transmission

The PX features <>* technology.  The geometry of the PX’s lateral arms, a Look exclusive, maximizes the transmission of the energy generated by a skier entering a turn.  This energy is then rapidly distributed throughout the ski via the interface.

The springs in the heel piece ensure high-performance energy recirculation, for a <> effect.**  This means better rebound when exiting the turn, and 30% additional power.

Lightweight

By optimizing design, material assembly, and using Titanium and composites, Look engineers have eliminated over 300 g.  The result is in a binding 15% lighter than the previous Pivot series.

The PX is one of the lightest bindings in its category today.
