Meet Billy

An 18-year-old backcountry snowboarder from Whistler with serious momentum. Growing up the daughter of Wildcats legend Jean-François Pelchat and sister to Olympian Juliette Pelchat, snowboarding is basically in her DNA, but Billy is carving out her own story. She made waves winning the 2026 RnD event, which qualified her for NST Revelstoke, where she finished third – against a stacked line-up of seasoned pros, and as the youngest competitor in the field.

Off the snow, Billy and her sister, Juliette, co-founded Real Wild Kittens, a Whistler based nonprofit dedicated to getting girls into board sports. The program runs girl-specific skate camps, co-ed sessions, and weekly Friday Ladies Skate Jams at the Whistler Skatepark – all designed to build confidence and community for girls of all ages and skill levels. Whether she's charging high-stakes backcountry lines or building pathways for the next-gen, Billy is providing forward momentum to board sports.
