If you haven't tried an asym board yet, it's time to experience the revolution. The Yes. Greats Snowboard is an icon in the Yes. lineup, and coming in hot with an all new shape this season. This board has a stiff, responsive and poppy feel that will go hand in hand with the benefits of an asymmetrical shape. Match all of this up with the groundbreaking MidBite technology for lightning quick edge-to-edge control and you have a combo that JP Solberg, the founder of Yes., upholds as nothing short of legendary.
CamRock 2-4-2 – Rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot.
Flex Rating – 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – A completely symmetrical outline houses a centered stance that is effective on edge, a tip and tail, and is identical at both ends of the board. The radial sidecut is effective and predictable. The overall shape allows complete freedom of expression by keeping the board a neutral, yet responsive board.
Asymmetrical MidBite – MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of wider nose and tail. The MidBite steps the outline of the board inward 1.5mm just inside the insert pack. This step remains down about 1/3 the length of the sidecut until just inside the next insert pack. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings cheats the waist width narrower, providing quicker edge-to-edge response.
Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo – Creating a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the Poplar with Paulownia and then inserts two bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop and response.
Triaxal Glass
Carbon – Heel side carbon stringer to balance out the flex of an asym board.
Sintered True – True Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.
