One of the lightest bindings ever, the Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings weigh in at a mere 720grams. Where each gram is comprised of durable materials to ensure a long-lasting product. Union's primary focus was to construct the Contact with the strength of Duraflex in all of the critical areas that transmit power from rider-to-board. EVA dampening in the footbed along with Vaporlite Full Bottom Bushings encourages a natural-feeling cant for ample board control and heightened board feel while absorbing the shock of landings. Duraflex™ ST Nylon – Duraflex™ blended nylon is specifically designed for cold temperatures offering unsurpassed levels of strength and longevity.
MD Baseplate – Minimal board to binding footprint crucially reduces interference with your board's true flex and provides a more natural response and feel.
Vaporlite Bushings – This water resistant, durable material maintains it's superior dampening characteristics in cold temperatures, providing a cushioned ride that can't be matched.
Highback
Contact Pro Highbacks – Developed and tested by Gigi Ruf. Incredibly light, extremely comfortable and outstanding in all types of snowboarding terrain.
Straps
SonicFused Ankle Strap – Features a multi-layer composite strap core that is fused together to form a single, articulated strap. This minimization of stitching increases the straps durability and reduces weight. Additionally, it evenly distributes pressure across your boot improving comfort and lateral mobility.
3D Direct Connect System – Features a multi-layer strap core that evenly distributes pressure across the top of the foot, comfortably locking you in.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
