The Salomon Burner Snowboard is for riders who lap lines through tight chutes, big bowls and secret stashes. The high-octane Salomon Burner is the only stick you need. Dimensional CNC profiling–which precisely dials-in board thickness for the sweetest flex–creates a responsive and powerful ride, while a snappy sidecut slashes back with style and holds ultra stable at high speed. The drawn-out nose kick and slight pintail taper float the Salomon Burner effortlessly on deep days, light materials keep it nimble in tight spots and a lightning fast base helps win the race to the untracked line. The Salmon Burner has a medium flex right in the middle of Salmon’s flex scale.

LNK (LONG NOSE KICK)- Profiled for easy float, Salomon extended nose kick rises to the top when charging hard in deep snow or riding away from fresh landings. The gradual shovel shape gets up to speed fast and refuses to sink, keeping the back leg burn-free when dropping in on deep untracked. Spaceframe Technology- A small revolution in the ERA technology: a wider platform for surgically precise transmission, a more dynamic and light core, more comfort thanks to the shock absorbing ABS, all while keeping the unique ERA system that separates the flexion and torsion for more maneuverability at low speeds while keeping perfect support at high speeds.
ITC- Salomon wove ITC into the board at a 22.5-degree angle, Salomon braided fiberglass gives the board torsional stability and transmits energy efficiently to the contact points. Snappier than the 45-degree standard, this construction results in better edge hold and a more responsive ride VSW VARIABLE SIDE WALL- Combining both the clean finish and durability of monocoque in the tip and tail with the dampened performance characteristics of ABS Sidewall to and from the contact points.
EDGE TUNED- Salomon has given special attention to detail in their edge finishing. The edge tuned off the edges with an angle of 1.5 degrees in 2 directions give you improved maneuverability for all obstacles and incomparable ease going from edge to edge. CONTOUR CORE- Made to spec for the Salomon Burner, this two toned wood core is tailored for a full-throttle ride. Hardened Aspen over the rails adds power and enhances grip, while light-grain wood underfoot keeps it lively. Dimensional CNC milling transmits energy directly to the edge.
FINE STONE FINISH- Found on Salomon’s freestyle boards because parks and pipes are usually tracked out and warmer than fresh snow. This fine finish reduces friction and allows for more speed in the slower snow conditions
ZEOLIT- This hyper-fast additive is ingrained in Salomon’s 4000 grade material to add another gear when ripping around the hill. The base holds wax longer, needs less care and is hardened for longer life. Formulated in Salomon’s race room, it remains Salomon’s secret.
