Not only is the all basalt, no fiberglass construction more environmentally friendly, it also adds torsional rigidity. Paired with the Bio-Beans topsheet, Columbian Gold Core and Magne-Traction, this dreamy split set-up will have you thinking you're riding your resort board down to the bottom of whatever you just climbed. C2 BTX: Power Banana / Camber Blend – Travis Rice's favorite camber rocker blend for aggressive power snowboarders. Solid tip and tail pressure for power, pop, precision and end-to-end stability combines with a medium amount of pressure between your feet for float, carving and edge hold.
Flex
Flex 7 – A stiff aggressive flex designed to provide stability on big take offs and excellent response for cruising through powder.
Shape
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.

Columbian Gold – Fast growing farmed wood from south of the border with ultra light, strong and long lively fibers
Laminates
Basalt – Volcanic, organic, additive-free reinforcements are made from Mother Nature's finest minerals. Flex modulus is synchronized with Lib Tech's resin system for maximum strength and minimum weight.

Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls – The PTIS are lightweight internal sidewalls made from Birchwood to add durability where you need it the most.
UHMW External Sidewalls – Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.

Splitboarding A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
