Other Features:
Features – 4x2 inserts, screened graphics with foil stamp, full wrap around steel edges, carbon fiber reinforcements, perimeter weighted glass lamination, even flex, true twin, radial sidecut
Sidewall Construction - The bombproof engineering of CAPiTA SIDEwall boards guarantee power and stability through each turn while dominating every modern riding environment. Woodcores are "sandwiched" on the top and bottom by fiberglass, while ABS rails are placed at the sides. This configuration provides a smooth response, increased dampening, and a solid, confident feel while ripping down the mountain
SS Core - Built for a consistent feel, the SS core provides a stable, damp ride without sacrificing the energy and pop of a CAPiTA. Vertically laminated poplar is lightweight and has a long grain orientation with few irregularities allowing for consistent flex throughout the deck
Form 6 fiberglass configuration - The Form 6 glass configuration consists of biaxial fiberglass placed on both the base and top side of the construction at 0 and 90 degree angles. This configuration results in a board that initiates turns easily, while retaining the pop necessary for any freestyle environment. The Form 6 glass configuration is laid up wet by hand during the lamination process
Sintered 4000 speed base - These bases are created by taking pellets of Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight-Polyethylene and compressing them though heat and pressure making sintered bases harder. The miniscule spaces left behind absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding as the wax wicks to the surface while you ride. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and the overwhelming choice of pro snowboarders worldwide
