Burton Supermodel Snowboard 2008

Burton Supermodel Snowboard 2008 – Return of the freeride legend. Redesigned, reshaped and rebuilt, but embracing the same freeride philosophy that earned it fame, the NEW Burton Supermodel blends 30 years of knowledge into the definitive snow-surfing ATV. This board screams all-terrain, air-to-carve-to-fakie versatility. From the super-agile tapered shape and floaty Powder Fly II Core, to the lively flex and full-throttle WFO base—prepare to ride faster, bigger, steep, and deeper without rear leg burn or limitations on your Burton Supermodel Snowboard. Smooth, suave, sexy—it’s no wonder they call it the Supermodel.

Other Features:
Dualzone EGD — Burton’s exclusive Engineered Grain Technology [EGD] takes edge control one step further for increased hold and superior durability. Carbon I-Beam — More POP than Michael, less WEIGHT than Paris H. This ultra-light carbon backbone gives the board added pop and longitudinal snap.
Triax Response Fiberglass — Versatile flex and response. Increased torsional stiffness for precise edge hold and superior control, from straight-line descents to mellow laps through the park. Infinite Ride — No more break-in period. No more limp noodle. Flex and pop that stays true, no matter how hard you ride. This exclusive pop and power-enhancing technology allows them to break in the board for you, while also increasing its strength.
Sintered WFO Base — So fast it should be illegal. The regenerative properties of WFO's high and low-melt temperature-reactive waxes mean this base stays wide open in any condition imaginable. Powder Fly II Core — Powder floating perfection that enhances float, speed and agility in deep snow. Excels in powder-choked tree runs, but loves any terrain or snow condition on the mountain.
NEW Pro:45 Sidewalls — Slice, dice and slash the mountain to pieces. The nose cuts through pow and crud like a knife through cabbage, while the extra-juicy tail thrashes and bashes as you bounce off every obstacle in sight. Pro-Tip — Another Burton first, tapering the thickness of the tip and tail dramatically reduces swing weight to help you get around that extra 180 also improves float in powder.
Negative Core Profile — Thinner sections of core between the bindings provide softer flex and torsion, perfect for park, pipe and rails. These boards excel over a variety of snow conditions and terrain. Slightly Tapered Shape [10mm]
