The crowned camber king, the original, the GOAT, the Rome Mod Snowboard brings supremacy, style and skill to your riding that wasn't there before. With all the latest technology, this boundless board provides explosive technology and unparalleled ollie-power. Its all-mountain dominance, due to it's True Twin shape and TurboRod Laminates, has been acclaimed for many years now, improving the lives and rides of many boarders. The Rome Mod Snowboard's cambered profile keeps its rider in control and barreling down the mountain.
Stay Positive Camber – Rome innovated the concept behind this camber back in 2010 and ran it for several years in the Anthem SS-- possibly a bit ahead of its time given the anti-camber craze of those times. This design features positive camber through nearly all of the running length of the board. The result is nearly all the responsiveness of positive camber, but with smoother turn initiation and a touch more float in powder. Great for all-mountain responsive snowboarding.
Response Rating – 9 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
AirPop Core Matrix – Five zones of ultralight woods and air channels combine with snappy poplar for maximum lightweight response.
TurboRods | Reverse Radial V – Rome's TurboRod technology puts pop-enhancing rods inside of sleeves for more dynamic response in the tip and tail. Because the rod moves independently from the sleeve, it is able to load more energy and increase pop. This arcing pattern starts under the bindings and bends towards the middle of the board at the contact points in the nose and tail. This maximizes the focus of rider energy into the center of the board for ultimate ollie pop, with only a little added torsional response.
Z-Tech 1.0 Laminate – One of the most advanced, exotic materials in the world, Zylon is lighter, stronger, and more poppy than carbon. So when Rome lays it down the centerline of their boards, it adds a big kick of response. The 1.0 is a 1-inch wide version for a healthy dose of added response.
SuperlightBiax Laminate – Rome's ultra-lightweight biax pattern helps provide an even-flexing, fun, torsional feel; perfect for boards with the otherworldly pop found in Rome's TurboRods.
SinterCarbon Base – For our fastest boards, we take a high-end sintered structure and add carbon to it to increase the speed. Carbon additives reduce friction with the snow, which makes you go even faster.

When Norwegian powerhouse Stale Sandbech straps into his board, he needs those foot attachments to be stiff enough for high speed and massive jumps, but loose enough that he can tweak things out like none other. That's why he stays laced up with the Rome Targa Bindings. These shock-absorbing, uber adjustable bindings offer close-to-the-board control, and all the response you need; because let's be honest: if it's good enough for Stale, chances are, it's good enough for you.
7 - 10 – (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
V-Rod Ultralight Baseplate – V-Rod Baseplate technology combines toe-to-heel power with side-to-side flexibility and is a key way to create flex with pop. A diagonal Rod connects your two main input spots, running from your big to the outside corner of your heel. Then, opposing corners of the baseplate near the small toe and near the inside of your heal create side-to-side flexibility. To go with this optimal flex pattern, V-Rod baseplates feature the industry leading level of baseplate contact.
UnderWrap.4 Heel Hoop – This technology that defines Rome's signature power toe-to-heel and flexibility side to side. The Underwrap design gives added leverage over your edges, while remaining torsionally flexible for tweakability and subtle board feel.
Yes, I Cant Technology – Rome created adjustable canting for their InBase padding system to let riders customize two aspects of their interface. Increased canting underfoot gives riders more power over the tip and tail of their boards. Some riders like this for all types of boards, but it is particularly beneficial for rocker boards that have less power in the tips and tails. Increased canting also puts less pressure on the knee for greater comfort, particularly for riders who run wider stances.
PowerChord Highback – A new design sculpted to deliver the performance and direct response that riders like Stale Sandbech want in a highback.
Cant-In-The-Back II – Featured on Rome's high end bindings, Cant-In-The-Back lets riders adjust the side-to-side canting of their highbacks. This lets riders make sure their highbacks stay in line with their lower legs as stance widths change. A small detail that makes sure riders communicate with their boards seamlessly.
PivotMount Technology – The Rome only innovation that not only gives you choices of ankle strap support, but also makes strap placement super easy. The out-of-the-box setting is over the ankle for all mountain performance. But why go with one choice. With two quick turns of a screw, you can lower both sides for more tweakability, or raise both sides for more powerful response. Or adjust both sides independently for a custom asymmetrical response.
UltraAdjust Ankle Strap – A totally new, 2-part approach to ankle strap design that gives riders tool-free adjustment to three different flex profiles.
Conform Grip 2.0 Toe Strap – A new design that maximizes toe-grabbing surface for pressure-free fit and control.
AutoStrap Technology – Rome's signature idea using an elastic band to hold the ankle straps out of the footbed until you are ready to strap in.
Multiple Strap Positions – Every Rome binding comes with 3 or more strap positions so you can customize the level of strap support you want.
Quick-Adjust for Strap Length – No need for a screwdriver, with the flip of a lever you can choose the length you want/need for a perfect fit.
