Plus with fine tenability in the flex and the superior Ratchet Pivot System and the Absolute Fit straps the SF45 bindings are the only way to get a totally custom fit.

Highback:
The asymmetrical F-Tech Highbacks provide a soft outerflex that allows you to press your boardslides to their fullest and a firmer inside flex to better transfer power. Simply switch the highbacks with one another for a more responsive freeriding setup. To create an extremely versatile highback that’s ready to tackle the entire mountain, the SF45 utilizes an all purpose nylon mix.
Super Tough Nylon Plus uses an exclusive carbon nylon blend to create an exceptionally responsive highback for aggressive riders. This blend also excels at absorbing vibrations.
Using an Anti Vibration Pad, the highback padding is constructed with a new EVA material that provides a better hold of the boot in the heelcup, no slippage. It also allows for a better interface between boots and bindings.
Straps:
The new Absolute Fit ankle straps feature cored-out centers that shed weight while eliminating potential pressure points. Flux’s top of the line straps provide the most responsive ride.
To better tweak the comfort and responsiveness of the ankle strap, the Ratchet Pivot System can be positioned into three different ways.
L-Guide System ensures that your ladders quickly and cleanly lock into your bindings ratchets.
UU Fit: Allows the ankle strap to transfer power better and minimize pinching.
Baseplate:
The Alpha Base delivers pro performance in an exceptionally lightweight package. The base features higher sidewalls that increase the bindings responsiveness and durability, while its milled out design sheds serious weight. The sidewall and heelcup incorporate a flange beam that further increases strength. Flat rocker sole has rounded edges that enable your board to flex more naturally.

Flux ratchets have gone on a diet this season, starting with the Alpha Ratchet System for lighter weight and easier adjustment.
