Full Rocker is a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail with matching sidecut and flex. The Extended Low Profile of Full Rocker gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain. It gives you full, uninterrupted edge contact for uncanny smoothness and predictability.

Construction

Multi-layer Sensorwood Light is CNC milled using vertically laminated Poplar and Beech wood.

Power/Tough Box Powered by Carbon is Volkl’s longest-running construction that utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. This construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and a smooth ride

Comments about Volkl Kiku Skis - Women's 2013:

The Kiku is such a fun ski! Powerful, stable and quick through any terrain. I was definitely pleasantly surprised after skiing a few runs on the Kiku. I would recommend the Kiku to anyone looking for a solid all mountain ski that can pretty much do it all.

Comments about Volkl Kiku Skis - Women's 2013:

I did a lot of research before buying these skis including demoing a few other pairs in addition to these. I love these skis. They are light, responsive, great float, and I was most surprised buy how fun they were on groomers. They are not just a great powder ski, but a great all mountain ski.

I am an agressive skier, 5'5'' and 130 lbs, skiing mostly off piste in the NW. I struggled to decide which length to go with before pulling the trigger on the 162. I went with the 162 because the rocker is not as pronounced as other powder skis out there. Because of this, they didn't feel short like some of the other rocker skis out there that I tried.

These are a ton of fun. I have skied them in 15 inches of soft powder, which they (and I) obviously LOVED, but I have also skied them in heavy pow, spring conditions, crud, groomers, and icey conditions. There was definitely some chatter on the ice, but they still held their edge pretty well. All in all, great ski!

Comments about Volkl Kiku Skis - Women's 2013:

I feel like Fred Astaire floating gracefully on all terrains. I've only been on them twice so far, and am still getting used to the full rocker, especially hard on hard groomers in cutting a clean line. But that's my skiing ability, not these wonderful skis!
The skis are responsive in the glades, on soft and hard moguls, and in powder. Love 'em! I just have to get up to speed, as they are more ski than I was used to.
