The Salomon BBR 8.9 Skis have wide, surf-like tips that were made to float over pow but are also shaped to reduce pesky chatter that happens when you speed down groomers. The narrow waist is made to allow for tight turns and grippiness on firm snow, so you can keep up your speed and quickly avoid any hard-to-see obstacles. The polyethylene fiber edge reinforcement is made to withstand a few good beatings, so no need to be gentle, shred your heart out!
