Product Info

The Line Skis Sir Francis Bacon Shorty Skis feature the same technology as the adult ski that Eric Pollard rides in a pint-sized package. For kids that are good enough to smash powder with the bigger guys but need a ski their size, the Sir Francis Bacon Shorty skis are ready to rip. A true powder ski with a 107mm waist that is kid-tested and Pollard-approved. Your mind will be blown with the Bacon Shorty’s powerful solid wood core, Early Rise™ and Early Taper™ in the tip and tail, and a playful 4D Fibercap™ construction.

Product Details

Shape

Early Taper™The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tip to reduce tail drag and hooking in powder.

Rocker Type

Profile6-1-6mm (Early Rise Tip/Camber/Early Rise Tail)

Early Rise™The rise in the tip and tail starts earlier for effortlessly staying on top of the snow without needing to sit back and easier turn initiation.

Flex

Symmetric Flex™The same flex pattern in-front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.

Sidecut

5 Cut™5 different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

Core

Aspen Macro Block™2 full length Maple stringers surrounded by Aspen for the best of both worlds.

Laminates

4D Fibercap Construction3 directions of fiberglass reinforcement around the core create durability and a super light and responsive feel.

Base

Fatty Extruded Base and Edge™30% thicker base and edge dramatically increases durability and tuning life.

Graphics

Eric Pollard’s unmatched style transitions from snow to the canvas, and especially to Line’s skis.

**Please note that base colors will alternate and may not arrive exactly as pictured.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Comments about Line Skis Sir Francis Bacon Shorty Skis - Youth 2013:

I use this ski for when I'm going to shred some pow. It can float really well yet you can still take it on some groomed stuff. There is nothing bad i can say about this ski.

Comments about Line Skis Sir Francis Bacon Shorty Skis - Youth 2013:

I bought the Line Sir Francis Bacon's about halfway through the season, and I haven't looked back since. These skis can handle themselves in any condition from sunny, icy, crunchy, and also handle these very well. They are great in park, great on groomers, and all-around amazing, but using them on powder days brings out the best of the Bacon's. They have great flotation, great control, super responsive, and I wouldn't want any other ski.

These skis are not just for kids, light weight women would find these a great powder ski that are still fun to ride when the powder is gone.

This ski is the best ski i have ever had. And I have skied over 10 pairs of skis, and this is by far the best ski i have used. The design is ideal for powder but also lets you rip groomers and i still lap the park without a problem. Overall a amazing ski, must buy

I use this ski every day on the mountain the only thing that i have to say is dont use this ski on rails because the base scratches easier than a park ski. besides that this ski was the best purchase i ever made.
