New for 2014, The Liberty Sequence Skis combine performance and playfulness into one all-mountain ripper package. Featuring Liberty's Stealth Rocker and a tapered tip and tail shape, these skis can carve turns and slash soft snow equally well. A bamboo laminate core and optimized camber through the tail make the Sequence skis very snappy and responsive, which means that you won't need to switch skis if you find powder, groomers, or some nice jibs in the park.
Stealth Rocker – A long, low tip rocker with camber under foot and a flat tail for easy turn initiation without sacrificing edge grip and liveliness - the Stealth also provides a no-dive/no-catch tip and flotation with control in soft snow.
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) – Features a stiff under foot flex and a medium flex in the tip and tail for superior control on hardpack and playful feel everywhere else
Tapered tip and tail shape
Bamboo Backbone – Every Liberty ski features a hand-made, bamboo/poplar laminate core that is light, strong, lively and eco-friendly. Each core and flex pattern is fine tuned for the intended application, but starts with the strength and durability of bamboo to provide a dependably energetic ride, time after time. If you've never ridden a bamboo-core ski, definitely give it a try.
Quadaxial Fiberglass – Liberty's custom E-Glass creates torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain.
Durathane – A polyurethane bumper to smooth out the ride and protect against topsheet chipping
Whitewalls – A rugged and repairable sidewall material with a layer of rubber below for smooth riding and exceptional durability - Liberty's Whitewalls are made of UHMW which is more resilient than ABS, and can be repaired with P-Tex if you do manage to gouge a hole in them.
P-Tex 2000 – A fast, porous and durable base from the industry leaders
HRC 48 – Liberty's specially treated HRC 48 edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
