Head Peak 82 Skis + Bindings - Used 2010 - Used

Head Peak 82 Skis + Bindings - Used 2010: Made for the Weekend Warrior, the Head Peak 82 Skis and bindings are for the used-to-be ski bums or proficient college skiers turned chargers on their days off. As fast and agile as a Head racing ski, the Head Peak 82 Skis have a durable wood core and sandwich construction that allow for all-mountain ripping.

Product Details

Shape:
82mm waist gives you the float you need under foot in softer snow conditions
Flow Ride technology for off-piste riding, elastomers placed in sections of the core for better flex which drives the edge on piste and float off piste
Construction:
Sandwich construction, with traditional sidewall
Liquidmetal Technology
Intelligence Technology allows for transfer of energy throughout the ski to provide stabilization at higher speeds; when the ski begins to shake in front of the binding, electricity is transmitted forward through the ski to stiffen it, reducing vibration
Flow Ride technology: a small section of the core at the tip of ski is milled out and reinforced with elastomer material, softening the tip for easier turning at slower speeds and in powder snow but stabilizing the ski at higher speeds
Dimensions:
15.4m @ 161cm 121/81/107
17.7m @ 172cm 122/82/108
18.9m @ 177cm 123/82/109
Bindings:
Tyrolia SP 120 Demo bindings have a Dura-Coating that makes them scratch resistant. An Aero Toe with TRP system allows up to 30% greater retention force without compromising safety. Four rollers at the toe have spring loaded flexibility at all times to keep the boot centered and absorbing sharp impacts.
Core and Flex Pattern:
Vertically laminated wood core with Liquid metal top and bottom resists compression for extra pop. Intellifibers positioned at 45 degrees in front of the binding increase the ski’s torsional stiffness and responsiveness, pushing the edge into the snow in hard turns. Intelligence progressively stabilizes the entire ski at high speeds but remains smooth and supple in softer snow.
