Product Info

G3 Highball Skis 2012: The G3 Highball Skis are G3’s biggest ski. It is the most predictably behaving ski in testing and is unparalleled in its easiness to ski in all conditions. With a perfectly tuned camberline, you get tons of edge pressure on hard pack and just the right pre set deflection to initiate perfect turns on the loose snow pack. It’s the ultimate freeride tool.

Product Details

Shape

Sweet Rise rocker style is the new freeride camberline that provides a continuous negative curvature matched with the ski side cut, making the ski ready to initiate a perfect turn, at will, in any conditions. The skier can choose when the ski tips and tail will start working for him in challenging snow conditions.

Variable J sidecut construction with a longer turning radius in the front half of the ski and a shorter turning radius in the rear resulting in predictable initiation and mid turn stability with a reserve of power for the exit.

Construction

Capped construction at tip and tail means increased torsional rigidity for higher performance, increased durability and tolerance for edge abuse.

The highball has a low mass tip geometry that reduces mass in the tip to create reduced tip flutter, high speed jitters and a more balanced swing weight.

Electra Sintered Base

Flex

PowerRide construction: Macroblock Core is made of high quality poplar wood laminate with 4 layers of multi-axial fiberglass reinforcement to maximize overall strength and rigidity.

Lightweight Titanal deck construction offers the best possible torsion rigidity and energy return delivering the most power and stability.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
