Product Info

You know that annoying guy who always replies, "Livin' the dream!" when you ask how it's going? Thanks to the Faction Agent 90 Skis you just might find yourself responding with the same unbridled enthusiasm. Nimble and lightweight thanks to a paulownia and carbon fiber core with stability-enforcing camber underfoot and a medium-stiff flex, the Faction Agent 90 Skis are made for alpine touring while letting you excel all over the mountain. Whether you're into earning a turn or two before work, accessing your favorite lift-served stashes, or doing a little of both, the Faction Agent 90 Skis are the shred sticks that let you have your cake and eat it too. *These are factory blem skis that may have slight cosmetic damage.*

Product Details

Rocker Type

Rocker / Camber5mm of rocker over a 150 mm length in the tip with 5 mm of camber for a bit of float, easy turn initiation and a springy, energized skiing experience.

Flex

Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 6 Stiff)All-mountain versatility that won't feel overwhelming in difficult situations.

Sidecut

Medium Turning RadiusAllows for a reliable turning experience without unwanted tracking or hooking.

Core

Paulownia CorePaulownia is a very light hardwood that is stable and easy to machine. Cores made with this material are lighter than Balsa/Flax cores, but are more expensive and require a lamination layer such as carbon fiber to improve responsiveness.

STP TechnologySTP Technology is a patent-pending process used to press a small wave into the length of the ski. This creates a "pre-stressed" core with increased torsional strength, letting Faction use less wood to create lighter, more forgiving skis with above-average edge-grip.

Laminates

Bi-Axial Carbon FiberCarbon fiber is used on Faction's lightweight Escape series skis to reinforce the core and increase edge-hold, responsiveness, and rebound.

Bi-Axial/ Tri-axial FiberglassFiberglass is used in two different formats to aid the compressional strength of the core and esnusre long-lasting pop.

Phenol Binding PlatesPhenol is a hard plastic material that secures the binding screws. The one-piece design fits most touring bindings with center screws.

Gloss ICP8210 TopsheetICP8210 topsheets have a natural high-gloss finish which avoids the need for lacquer and helps the ski look better for longer. Better for the workers in the factory and better for the environment. A small but highly impactful change.

Sidewalls

Sandwich ConstructionUsed on most Faction skis. A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip and edge hold. Rubber is used to dampen vibration and bond the base layers to the core.

Base

Die-Cut PTEX 4000Used on most Faction skis. Sintered PTEX 4000 base material is more porous and holds wax better than PTEX 2000.

Edges

1.8 mm EdgesUsed on 99% of Faction's skis, the 1.8 mm hardened steel edges are strong and dependable.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
