Product Info

The Armada JJ Skis are the cat's pajamas when it comes to versatile powder planks. Built with EST Freeride Rocker, the JJ floats effortlessly through deep snow but can still hold an edge on your way back to the lift, if you're into that sort of thing. The Hybrid Ultralight core keeps the skis incredibly light and a short turning radius makes the JJs fast and nimble. Can't beat that, can ya?

Comments about Armada JJ Skis 2014:

Armada's JJs are the best skis that have ever been made. They are SUPER light, (there is no comparison nor words to explain how light they are) super playful, really poppy, and perfect for big pow days. They are of a more powder directed ski but due to Armada putting Rocker in the tip and tail and Camber underfoot they hold their own on those hard-pack days. You won't get carving ski performance but you will not be disappointed. Armada incorporated their "Elf-shoe" technology into these skis which makes them super versatile. The tips are in my words "reverse tapered", or in other words the tip and tails of the ski are thinner than the contact points just below them. The ski goes from 126mm in the tip, to 136mm at the first contact point, to 115mm underfoot then back to 133mm in the rear contact point, and then back to 123mm in the tail. This enables you to hold an edge on your way back to the chair lift. The top sheet is superior to any other ski. Unlike Line for example, who has a super soft top sheet, Armada uses directional layered fiberglass that provides a very tough top sheet but gives you a lot of strength and just the right amount of flex. The stability is great and they land smoothly for huge back-country kickers and drops. It truly doesn't get any better then this. I HIGHLY recommend these. They are a bit pricey and I don't have a lot of money but this should tell you that they are worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

Comments about Armada JJ Skis 2014:

I ride these skis any day- from the deepest days to spring conditions.
For as ski that is as long and wide as it is, it is super playful, very responsive, and have great turning ability in variable conditions.
I have yet to see anything bad with them.

Comments about Armada JJ Skis 2014:

I had Rossignol s7 and was skeptic about the JJ's. All the buddies had them and when I first got on them they were the best ski I had ever been on. 115mm underfoot does great for all mountain; groomers to powder, they will get the job done. People say they are a powder only ski, but they do just fine on the groomers. Not to mention they will make you into a total powder hound. I put the Tyrolia AAAttack 13 on them and they are as light as a feather. 185cm is a great length, and they turn fast! Beyond impressed. Ski on! Steep & Deep
