Click into the Volkl RTM 81 Skis + iPT Wide Ride 12.0 Bindings and experience the phenomenon that people call "autopilot". Offering amazing performance in virtually all conditions, the RTM 81 is an everyday ski that gives advanced to expert skiers to slingshot from edge to edge with effortless grace. The 3D.Ridge construction makes for a light yet lively feel while the 3D.Glass laminate pairs with the single-sheet steel to ensure dampness and power through off-piste crud and chunder. Paired with Marker's iPT Wide Ride binding system, the Volkl RTM 81 Skis + iPT Wide Ride 12.0 Bindings are ready to make the most of groomer days at the mountain.
XTD Tip & Tail Rocker – Unique rocker shape, longer rocker profile compared to traditional tip & tail rocker, very short cambered section under foot, with a stiffer tip, and softer mid-body.
3D.Ridge Technology – This unique construction is characterized by a raised central ridge that flattens and thins dramatically toward the edges of the ski both in front and back of the binding. The result is a reduction in mass that enhances the agility of the ski while retaining the precision, power and pressure distribution where the boot contacts the ski.
3D.Ridge Core – Created with a sophisticated CNC milling process, Extended Sensorwood cores create vertical ridges to form the understructure of the 3D Ridge shape.
3D.Glass Technology – Völkl's latest development to improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Powered by Steel – A metal layer just under the topskin delivers dampness and power at speed.
Full 3D Sidewall
P-Tex 2100 Base – A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
WideRide XL – Marker and Völkl developed the iPT WideRide system with a 30% greater than standard contact surface. On top of that, the binding is mounted significantly closer to the edge of the ski. This helps the energy flow more directly and continuously to the edges. This makes wider skis more agile, responsive and easier to control. The skis are better in tune with the skier’s signals and application of pressure and edge for a precise and powerful characteristic.
Includes iPT Wide Ride 12.0 Bindings – DIN Range 4 - 12
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis – Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

Quick Instep – A shaped plastic component at the instep that is softer than the rest of the shell helps you to step into and out of the ski boot.
Last: 100 mm – An average width last to fit the majority of feet.
Flex: 110 – Power transmission and control in all terrain for intermediate to advanced all-mountain skiers.

C.A.S. Liner Technology – C.A.S. Technology focuses on the critical fit areas of the foot to achieve an accurate anatomical shape using dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material. This provides a great out-of-the-box fit for enhanced sensitivity and power transmission all while allowing for liner customization.
