Line Skis Blade Skis 2021

You can sheath your longsword and retire the katana you picked up from the mall; there's a new blade in town. Ready to slice and dice your local hill, the Line Skis Blade Skis feature edge to edge Gas Pedal Metal™ construction for torsional stability and a razor sharp turn radius that begs you to drop a knee and hang on for dear life. Independant Titanal pieces in the tip and tail provide grip, energy and snap out of the turn, if only to slingshot you into the next. Feed the adrenaline junkie within and lay some trenches on the Blades.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.

Rocker Profile3mm Tip / 5mm Camber / 1mm Tail

Flex

Directional Flex™The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.

Sidecut

5-Cut™Five different radiuses are blended into the ski's sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.

Shape

Thin Tip™Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Core

Aspen Core100% Aspen wood for the lightest, most nimble feel.

Laminates

Gas Pedal Metal™Titanal carefully arranged across the ski provides increased edge grip and torsional stability while maintaining a lively feel along the length of the ski. Two independent tip and tail Titanal pieces add power and energy.

Sidewalls

Sidewall ConstructionUltra-high density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.

Base

Fatty Base | Sintered 1.7mmHigh density sintered bases reduce friction against the snow allowing for more speed and better durability.

Edges

Fatty Edge | 2.5mm x 2.2mm30% thicker edge dramatically increases durability and tuning life of these skis.

Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite ToeToe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
