A versatile all-mountain choice for those who tend to venture beyond the confines of the main runs, the Fischer Ranger 102 FR Skis exude confidence in everything from a foot of powder to spring slop. The 102mm waist width is the sweet spot for sidecountry all-rounders, and combined with their Freeski Rocker profile, perform incredibly well on groomers as well. A one-ski weapon for the advanced and adventurous skier, Fischer has absolutely nailed it with the Ranger 102 FR.
Freeski Rocker – Long smooth tip rocker with camber underfoot and moderate tail rocker. Easy to turn and saves energy in all situations.
Aeroshape – Special lightweight shape with beveled topsheet contours for torsional stability.
Air Tec Ti – Milled wood core reduces weight by 25% while maintaining outstanding ski performance, the addition of Titanal adds dampness and power (models with Ti in name, only).
Carbon Nose – Ultra slim shovel with carbon inlay
Sandwich Sidewall Construction – Wood core combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic Sandwich Construction for balanced flex and perfect rebound.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Think the G3 Ion bindings are great? So do we, and we really couldn't think of how they could improve on them, until G3 announced the new Zed 12 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings. We're stoked, to say the least. The new Zed retains the great features pioneered in the Ion, including the spring-loaded zero gap heel, great retention in ski mode, easy clearing toe arms, and low binding ramp angle - and drops the weight to 358 grams per binding. As with the Ion series, you can clear snow from under the toe arms with a ski pole tip, and a Pozidrive #3 screwdriver adjusts both release value and fore/aft position. Forget the "Genuine" and "Guide," the G3 stands for "Genius" x 3.
Robust, Reliable Simplicity – Simple and functional design that users of other tech bindings will be instantly familiar with.
Snow Clearing Channel at Toe – Added stand height allows snow clearing with ski pole tip.
Elasticity for Real World Retention – G3’s unique toe jaw dynamics absorb roughly 50% more energy than other tech bindings before releasing, letting you ski confidently with toepieces unlocked, even in difficult and chattery conditions.
Toe Jaw Strength Clears Snow
Simple, Minimal Boot Stop for Effective Step-In Guidance
Quick Flick Heel Lifts
Single Tool Simplicity – Use a Pozidrive #3 bit to adjust both release values and boot sole length.
Heel Turret Turns Either Direction – Yes, turn it either clockwise or counter clockwise and the lifters function equally well.
10mm Range of Spring Loaded Pressure
Three Climbing Positions, Including Flat
Tech Boots Only – Requires a boot with tech heel and toe fittings.
30mm Length Adjustment
Low Binding Ramp – Differential between toe pins and heel pins in ski position of 4mm.
Anti-Snowpacking – Built into the toe and brake designs. Keep snow out and make for a confidence-inspiring step-in.
Single Screw for Full Adjustment of Vertical & Lateral Release
Optimal Toe Elasticity Maximizes Energy Absorption
Wide Freeride Mount for Power Transfer & Pull-Out Resistance
Add-On Brake Is Easy to Install/Uninstall (Available Separately)
Compatible with G3 ION Crampons
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
