Prime numbers, primal instincts, the Faction Prime 2.0 Skis are all about individual feelings and things that come first. If you're feeling like you're at the top of your game and completely capable of ascending a 1,500 m peak, but also looking to rip the descent like a boss, these are the skis for you. Incredibly lightweight, making your ascent as easy as possible, and built with TeXtreme Carbon weave laminates to provide stability and precision for your way down. The Faction Prime 2.0 Skis are not for the faint of heart, but are for those looking for a true all-mountain tool.
Rocker / Camber / Rocker – 410mm rocker at the tip, 2mm camber underfoot, and 420mm rocker in the tail.
Stiff Flex – 7/10 - Designed to provide bite and stability in steep terrain and variable snow.
Multi-Dimension Sidecut – Shorter radius underfoot with longer radii blended out to the tip and tail of the ski. Charges at high speeds whilst giving responsive, short turns when you need it.
Extended Tip and Tail Rocker – For excellent float in fresh snow and a nimble feel.
Hybrid Balsa/Flax Core – A lightweight and well-dampened core with a sidewall construction for great edge hold.
TeXtreme Carbon – Proprietary 'spread-tow' weave makes the laminate thinner and stronger than regular carbon. A full layer, strategically laid up gives excellent torsional stability across the ski without compromising weight.
Titanal Reinforcement Underfoot – Titanal plates secure the binding screws. The one peice design fits most touring bindings with center screws.
Sandwich Construction – Used on most of Faction's skis. A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip, and edge hold. Rubber is used to dampen vibration and bond the base layers to the core.
Die-Cut PTEX 3000 Base – Used on most Faction Skis. Sintered PTEX 3000 base material is more porous and holds wax well.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

The best elasticity in the business, most solid boot-binding connection, and shortest mounting zone around are now available in a reasonable 12 DIN option for smaller chargers and new freestyle skiers alike - the Look Pivot 12 Dual WTR Ski Bindings. Get all the features the pros insist on with release values you can actually live with, now compatible with both ISO 5355 Alpine (traditional alpine) and WTR (rockered Walk-to-Ride) soles.
180˚ Multi-Directional Release – A true mechanical upward release that functions independently from the heel for the most effective multi-directional protection in the case of a fall.
Toe Lateral Elasticity – 45 mm
Dual Standard Concept – Look strategically reinforced the toe housing, increased the toe ramp, elongated the toe-wings, and created a toe that is compatible with both ISO 5355 Alpine soles and WTR (Walk-to-Ride) rockered soles.
Heel Vertical Elasticity – 28 mm
7 Points of Contact – More points of contact with the boot results in superior lateral energy transmission with better response, control and snow feel.
Turntable Heel – Look's unique turntable heel design provides shock absorption and unmatched smoothness and consistency for lateral release.
Short Mounting Zone – Placing the heel screws under the boot sole shortens the mount zone considerably, letting the ski flex more naturally.
Ramp° – 0.2°
