Looking for a lightweight touring ski that doesn't sacrifice stability on the descent? Then nab yourself a pair of the Dynafit Dhaulagiri Skis and experience what's perhaps the best combination of weight, power and versatility in a touring ski to date. Built along the same design parameters as the ultra light Denali, but with more of an emphasis on power and durability, the Dhaulagiri is more solid at speed and on firm snow, but still turns easily into the fall line in variable snow and when the consequences are high. If your touring plans are ambitious but you are tired of giving up ski performance in the interest of weight reduction, the Dhaulagiri is the ski for you.
Scoop Rocker – Long and smooth early rise tip lets you handle variable snow with ease.
Tail Rocker – A short but smoothly increasing tail rocker provides easy speed control and turn radius options.
Flex Tip – With its ultra light 3D carbon construction, the flex tip reduces vibration, increases resilience and dampens vibration.
Dual Radius – The combination of a long front radius and short rear radius gives you ultra-steady handling going into and coming out of curves. The ski therefore needs less effort for wide turns while easily negotiating tight ones. The short radius of the ski tail enables highly precise speed control on steep, icy terrain.
Paulownia-Poplar Core – When what's demanded is wider ski geometry for long, intensive ascents but also precision and good grip when edging on icy, steep terrain, then the combination of poplar and Paulownia is the ideal base to use in ski development. You get strength from Paulownia's long fibers, while the poplar portion gives you lightweight density. This is a core construction that has already been proved on many expeditions.
Carbon-Glass-Fiber
Carbon Speed Stringer – Carbon stringer enhances the ski's performance at speed.
Carbon Tip – A special carbon core in the tip reduces mass to optimize vibration and damping qualities.
Full ABS Sidewall – Impact resistant ABS along the full length of the sidewall for durability and precise edge control.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Designed for hardcore fast-and-light ski tourists who demand simplicity and bomber durability, the Dynafit TLT Speed Radical Ski Bindings improve on the legendary Speed/Classic binding in several ways. The forged 7075 Aluminum baseplate simplifies the mounting pattern with 4 screws rather than 5, and it adds Side Towers under the toe pins for increased resistance to lateral shock and ease of stepping in. The heel accesses all skinning modes with the housing in a single position, and climbing height adjustments are easily made on the fly with a ski pole by flipping the Speed Step Climbing Bar up or down.
Radical Toe Piece – Cast alloy baseplate and forged steel toe arms with hardened pins
Side Towers – New Side Towers aid step-in entry and reduce chances of pre-release from lateral shock.
Four screw mounting pattern rather than the traditional 5 hole Dynafit pattern
Crampon Slots – Reinforced crampon slots in baseplate for ski crampons.
Alloy pivot post with polymer body and stainless steel heel pins
Release – Lateral and Vertical release both originate at the heel, and release values are set with separate screws.
Speed Step Climbing Bar – New design climbing bar is super easy to adjust while skinning using a ski pole.
Anti-Twist Device – 2014-2015 Speed Radicals include an anti-twist device that keeps the heel from rotating inadvertently into ski mode while skinning.
Toe lever should be in locked position for skinning.
Tour mode is accessed for all positions by rotating heel 3/4 turn counter-clockwise (heel pins face user's right). Height adjustment is done by flipping the Speed Step Climbing Bar up or down as needed. On the fly adjustments with a ski pole are simple and precise.
Heel should be rotated counter-clockwise to access skinning mode, and clockwise to return to ski mode (disregard the red arrow on heel top plate).
Tech Soles Only – Boots with tech fittings in the toe and heel are required for use with this binding.
Dynafit Compatible Boots – Boots with Dynafit toe and heel fittings are required to use this binding.
One Size Fits All – Binding can be mounted to fit all boot sizes.
Uses Torx 20 screws instead of PoziDrive #3 screws
Not compatible with ski brakes; Dynafit Guide cable leash included.
