The DPS Wailer 110 Alchemist Pro evo SE Skis aren't just a dream anymore. This new, chargier Wailer builds on an evolution of the Cassiar's C2 chassis to spawn a longer radius (22 meters) ski with more contact length and power in variable snow. If you love the way your Wailer 112s rule in powder but feel slightly under-gunned at speed or when conditions firm up or get funky, the 110 Alchemist Pro is the way of the future. This is the same ski as the Powderworks version, but with a topsheet you'll only find right here at evo.

Chassis Design – In ski design, there is a conventional hierarchy of variables that drive the end shape. DPS has re-prioritized and reorganized these drivers so that the design now starts directly under your foot and moves outward to the tip and tail, as opposed to overlaying flex patterns on pre-drawn shapes. The result is an optimized relationship between the flex pattern and sidecut that is perfected through testing, and then mathematically translated across every model in the lineup. The goal is to create a distinct DPS feel that can be sensed in every ski from the Cassiar 82 all the way to the Lotus 124.
Aspen Wood Core
Alchemist Pure Carbon – The world's most advanced ski construction takes a significant evolutionary step forward. Alchemist pure carbon skis are the ultimate expression of the craft. Next-level, vibration-tuned aerospace grade carbon ski construction melded with absolutely the finest in supporting materials. Alchemist skis retain the same historical shapes as their Pure3 predecessors, but due to the construction upgrades are notably damper and smoother in mixed and firmer conditions.

With an all-new design reminiscent of something out of the Transformer movies, the Atomic Shift MNC 13 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings promise to set a new bar for power and reliability in the backcountry. In ski mode, the Shift MNC looks like a low profile alpine binding with a long nose, but pull the SHIFT bar on the toe rearward and a set of tech "wings" pops open for touring (yes, you will need a boot with tech fittings to skin uphill). The beauty of the Shift is that it skis pretty much just like a 13 DIN alpine binding (the Warden 13 comes to mind) but weighs under 900 grams (compared to nearly 1500 grams for a Guardian) and features a much smoother touring action. If you're bummed by the weight of your frame AT bindings but are wary of using a tech binding for committed hard charging, the Shift MNC is the burning light at the end of the tunnel.
Dual Mode Toepiece – MNC (Multi-Norm Certified) for skiing, including WTR soles. Converts to a tech toe for touring (requires a boot with tech toe fittings).
XL Wings – Long wings for a great envelopment of the boots.
Toe Height Adjustment – Adjustable toe height to let you switch between different boot norms.
Lateral Elasticity – 47mm
Easy Step-In – Less effort needed to step-in and out of bindings.
Sliding Toe Pedal
Freeski Brakes – Self-retracting brakes for a close position to the heel so they never catch.
Hike and Ride Switch – A switch lever to shift between hike and ski mode.
Accessing Toe for Touring – 1. Pull back on block between toe wings to open tech arms. 2. Depress front lever to widen arms to step in. 3. Pull up on lever to lock arms securely for skinning.
Preparing Heel for Touring – Pull back on the brake pad and fix the brake in the "up" position by stepping down on the pad.
Climbing Aids – 2° & 10°
Multi Norm Certified (MNC) – Compatible with all adult boot sole types, including ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Touring, WTR (Walk to Ride) and GripWalk.
Tech Toe Fittings Required For Use In Uphill (Touring) Mode
Requires Boot with Full Heel and Toe Lugs – Not compatible with boots like the Dynafit Hoji and TLT, Atomic Backland, Salomon X-Alp and Arc'teryx Procline, among others. These boots have shortened or non-existent lugs and will not fit into the Shift in downhill mode.
+Elastic Travel – Ultimate elastic travel to hold in boots during impact in order to go bigger with no risk of pre-release.
Low Profile Chassis – A low stand height improves your feel for the terrain and enhances power transmission to the ski.
Oversized Platform – A super-wide platform allows for maximum lateral power transmission, especially for wider skis.
Carbon-Infused PA Construction
Adjustment Range – 30mm
Height – 30mm
Compatible with Salomon S/LAB Shift Crampons
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
