The Blizzard Zero G 95 Skis have long been the number one name in the game for all-around backcountry touring. The 95mm waist is near perfect in its versatility, handling the full range of conditions found in the backcountry with ease. The solid directional shape borrows heavily from Blizzards exceptional inbounds models, and the carbon layup allows for a ski that is unimaginably light, yet somehow skis beautifully. These skis float up the skin track, helping you store up energy during long missions, and provide a powerful platform that lets you put all that energy to good use on the fun part. Rarely do you come across a ski so well balanced for both the up and down - the Zero G 95s continue to raise the bar.
Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
Ultra-Lightweight Paulownia Woodcore
Carbon Drive 2.0 – The integration of a 3D uni-directional carbon fiber frame with an ultra-lightweight paulownia woodcore construction allows Blizzard to reduce the weight in the ski while providing structure for performance. The carbon frame’s 3D geometry guarantees optimal flex and torsional rigidity. The result is a level of stability, edge grip and control unprecedented in the world of ski mountaineering.
Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.

The Black Diamond Helio 145 Alpine Touring Bindings were built for backcountry skiers looking for an ultralight that can still handle big lines. A high-performance yet incredibly simple touring binding available in three different fixed release values (6, 8, or 10), the Helio 145's redesigned toe piece utilizes new geometry for easier and more consistent step-in action, plus a new lever design with a seat for pole tip stabilization for easier releases too. Weighing in at a measly 145 grams per binding, the Black Diamond Helio 145 Alpine Touring Bindings far outpunch their weight class.
New Lever Design – The new front lever design provides easier activation by adding a seat for pole tip stabilization during release.
Monolink Technology 1.0 – One of the toe arms is spring-less, providing higher clamping stiffness in addition to a lower weight.
Easy Entry System – New toe geometry that optimizes the boot step-in.
Release Values – Fixed 6 / 8 / 10
Stainless Steel "U" Spring – The "U" spring is shaped from Stainless Steel to assure extreme lightness and durability.
