Rocker Type

Rocker Camber RockerSki profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

Rocker ConceptNew progressive rocker concept with slightly reduced rocker in the tip and tail helps to increase the carving character on groomed slopes and improve flotation off the slope.

Shape

Shape ConceptTraditional easy turning sidecut creates a perfect all-mountain feel. More aggressive tip shape provides better turn initiation. More traditional flat tails help to improve stability and flotation.

Core

Poplar-Beech Wood Core

Flip Core TechnologyThe famed Blizzard Flip Core process matches the core contour with the intended rocker profile so core and laminates act in harmony and don't require re-shaping in the mold.

Carbon Flipcore TechnologyA revolutionary rockered ski production process that incorporates a uni-directional carbon frame onto the core of the ski that results in great performance with a light and easy feel.

Laminates

Bi-Directional Carbon Tip and Tail

Binding Reinforcement Layer

Anti-Shock Layer

Two Layers of Titanal®

Sidewalls

Sandwich Compound SidewallAll Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.

Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.

Product Details

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite ToeToe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
