Mountain Shell | 50% Nylon / 4% Spandex / 31% Polyurethane / 15% Polyester – Mountain Shell is an innovative high-tech material composition, which remains flexible, 100% waterproof and extremely breathable under the harshest conditions. Maloja's goal of creating a proprietary tech garment was met through the combination of stretch fabric and a thin, soft membrane that offers amazing 20.000mm water column and a moisture vapour permeability of 20.000g/m²/24h. The third outer garment layer is comprised of a thin and very lightweight soft to touch fabric that is not only extremely comfortable but completely protects the inner membrane. The addition of the DWR finish is the first line of defence against dirt and water, further allowing the membrane to function at its best. The extreme technical composition of the Mountain Shell, complimented by forgiving flexibility, provides unsurpassed freedom of movement for the most demanding freeriders and ski mountaineers.

DWR (Durable Water Repellent) Finish – Allows rain and snow to roll off. The outer surface of the clothing is less sensitive against dirt and the breathability is not affected. All Maloja DWR treatments are bluesign® approved to fulfill all necessary requirements regarding sustainability.

Cross Stretch Fabric – Provides optimal freedom of movement.

Mountain Shell 20k/15k Waterproof Breathable Membrane – Even the worst rainstorm will not affect this garment. High level waterproofness combined with breathability provide a high wearing comfort.

Regular Fit – This garment has a classic fit, something that isn't too loose or too clingy. This is an ideal cut for all body types.
