These Rossignol Bindings are great they are rugged and have a high dens. The bindings are just right weight wise. they are sturdy and trustworthy. the 120 breaks fit my 115(underfoot) ski's, I wouldn't go any bigger than that with 120 breaks. if you are scared of being stuck in these bindings your wrong the lowest den is 3 which has a lot of forgiveness when pressure is high and you'll pop right out. if you are skiing powder i recommend a average den setting of around 5 or above whatever is comfortable. if you are skiing bumps or crud i recommend a higher den of around 6 or 7 or above. if you are skiing groomers and its hard pack you may want to put your dens higher so if your skiing on the side pushing it you don't eject and fly. these are just recommendations from my experiences I'm not telling you by any means what to or to no do. great bindings for a powder ski. i had these bindings mounted at true mid sole. they are stable.

So These have worked pretty well so far, I've released out once in the 5 days I've been on them. They do feel a little plasticy and feel like they might break. I would buck up and get the axial2's for a bit more. If you are super concerned about weight or are a more beginning skier, these will suffice quite well.

Comments about Rossignol Axium 120 XXL Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2013:

the skis ended up being too tall for my son so we never tried out the equipment, but the folks at Evo were really helpful letting us know the boots we got off of craigslist would make my son's feet swim while trying to ski and they guided us to a great new used place since we were on a budget to find a pair that would fit. Great service there at Evos! They had boots too but we needed some immediately that were in our low budget.

I'm 5'4" and 117 lbs and wanted a sturdy but lightweight binding. This is the one. I'm never disappointed with Rossy and feel great about passing on this great binding recommendation.

The entry and release are a little stickier than I'm used to, however I should throw out that I have been on the same boards since 1999. That said I got the Rossignal Sickle with these bindings (they came in a package deal)and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a all mountian pow ski, and I think the choice was a good one!

Great bindings that are easy to get in and out of, and they're lightweight. Good control, but I wish the toepiece was a little wider though. Otherwise great bindings if you want a lightweight all mountain/powder binding.
