Comments about Marker Baron Small Ski Bindings (110mm Brakes) 2013:

Putting these on my second pair of skis. First pair worked great on my powder skis, now was looking for a narrower (100 under) all mountain, tour worthy set up and went straight to these. Downhill performance doesn't sacrifice a thing, and the touring functionality works flawlessly for me. 160 lbs so I can benefit from the lighter weight of the Barron's vs the dukes. Wish they were lighter still but as I see it, will take the weight anyday over sacrificing downhill performance. Highly recommend for your average backcountry/sidecountry skier.

Comments about Marker Baron Small Ski Bindings (110mm Brakes) 2013:

These are a great binding for someone who does an occasional tour, who isn't worried about how many grams they are hiking up the hill with. It is a solid beefy alpine binding for everyday use in bounds and good for the side country diversion or occasional tour.

Great touring binding for anyone who wants to get out and do some exploring. Very easy to adjust for different ski boot lengths, easy to change from touring mode to downhill mode. Stable, and still has a low center of gravity.

I loved the look and feel of the binding. I've only rode them downhill, but so far they transfer energy well on the edges and it doesn't feel as though you are moving around in the binding. I'll post again once I use them for their AT purpose.

ordered this binding hoping to get a lighter set up than I currently had.Received and found that it was very similar to what I had been skiing on already. It is a very substantial and sturdy binding, but is heavy and bulky. I ended up exchanging it for the fritchi diamir scout, which is awesome.
