Product Info

The Scott Contessa Genius 920 Complete Mountain Bike is always the right bike for the ride. With its TwinLoc remote lever mounted on the handlebars, you can control not only your suspension settings, but your bike's available travel, too. What this means is super efficient climbs with the suspension locked out, and plush descending when you've set the suspension to fully open. It's like having an invisible bike quiver with you at all times!

Frame/Shock

Genius Alloy SL 6011 Frame

TwinLoc Suspension SystemWith TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!

X-Fusion NUDE Rear ShockWith new seal designs and materials chosen to optimize performance and increase durability, this shock is known for excellent small-bump sensitivity and overall efficiency.

Genius Trail GeometryCompared to the previous iteration, this one is slacker, has longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. We really wanted geometry figures that would balance out the long front end for more stable descending. What they've ended up with is a bike that climbs like a bat out of hell and gets you down the mountain faster than you can say "dropping!"

DT Swiss Thru AxleWorking together with DT Swiss, Scott completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit their frames.

ICCR Cable RoutingRouting the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.

Fork

Marzocchi Z2Featuring a new from-the-ground-up Rail damper, the Z2 combines low maintenance with intuitive ease of use and impressive on-trail performance. The top-of-fork simple sweep adjuster from firm to open can lock out the fork or fully open the system with plenty of positions in between. The Z2 - it just makes everything easy.
