Impregnated Cow Hide – This waterproofed and wear-resistant cow hide is a durable leather with good impregnation properties. It takes on beautiful nuances in color when dyed, and resists moisture and abrasion well.
C-Zone Waterproof Insert – Hestra's waterproof/breathable membrane for those wet and just barely freezing days.
Thermolite® – A Coolmax® insulation that utilizes hollow cores, adding lightweight warmth.
Bemberg – Soft and warm polyamide fabric
Army Goat Leather with Reinforcements – Army leather is Hestra's most durable leather, originally used to make gloves for military purposes. This specially treated goatskin withstands tough, outdoor conditions and is thoroughly waterproofed with structural properties that provide effective protection against moisture.
Padded protection on knuckles and fingers
1) Dry your gloves at room temperature. High temperatures may dry out and damage the leather.
2) Grease the leather regularly and it will resists moisture, wear, and tear better.
3) Leather gloves should not be washed frequently, as this removes the natural protective properties of the leather.
4) If your gloves have a ventilating moisture barrier (membrane), such as GORE-TEX®, you should not use waterproofing agents that contain silicone.
5) If dyed leather becomes wet, the dye may bleed onto your ski jacket.
