Float EVOL Air Spring – A more linear spring curve gives EVOL forks and shocks plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression, allowing riders to tap into the ideal pairing of front and rear-end feel. EVOL technology from rear shocks is now integrated into all FOX forks. EVOL increases negative air spring volume, specifically positioned and sized for optimum small bump sensitivity.

FIT4 Damper – Now in its fourth generation, Fox's patented FIT4 (FOX Isolated Technology) closed cartridge system provides three on-the-fly compression damping positions—Open, Medium, and Firm—to adapt to varying trail conditions. Factory and Performance Elite Series forks feature an additional 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjust in the Open mode, allowing riders to fine-tune their exact damping preferences. The FIT4 cartridge damper was redesigned based on the award-winning HSC/LSC damper, resulting in a much higher performing damper across all forks. This year, the FIT4 damper features an updated shim stack for more sensitivity and support.

Performance Elite – Performance Elite forks are now available in the 34, 36, and 40 fork families. The 34 and 36 forks retain the same adjustments, dampers, weight, and 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Factory Series, but have black anodized upper tubes instead of Genuine Kashima Coat. The 40 has a different damper (with fewer adjustments) but continues the black anno upper tube theme. A Performance Elite graphics package is found on these forks to tie in the black-on-black look.
