Listen up, this is straight from the top. The Fox Racing 36 FLOAT Factory HSC/LSC 160mm Fork is ideal for riders seeking out the most adjustment possible out of their mountain bike fork. The FIT LSC/HSC damper features a high speed compression lever and low speed compression lever so you can tune your ride for serious traction, plush actuation and major impact absorption. The Fox Racing 36 FLOAT Factory HSC/LSC 160mm Fork also features a low friction top seal and Kashima coating for durable and smooth bump and divot gobbling performance.
Front Axle Type – 15mm Thru Axle
Front Hub Spacing – 100mm Quick Release
Steerer Tube – 1.5" Tapered Aluminum
Stanchion Size – 36mm
Float Air Spring – The FLOAT air spring system developed for 32, 34, 36 and 40 is lighter and reduces the force to initiate travel, providing excellent sensitivity and small bump compliance for all riders and pressure settings. Similar to FLOAT rear shocks, the new FLOAT system features positive and negative air springs that automatically equalize during use to give each rider the right pressure balance. The progressiveness of the spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
FIT HSC/LSC Damper – With the FIT HSC/LSC Damper, you can adjust the shock’s high- and low-speed compression damping by simply turning the external adjusters. This allows you to maximize small bump compliance and traction while still having the extra damping required for big hits.
External Rebound
Low Speed Compression – The Low Speed Compression (LSC) adjuster primarily affects compression damping during slow suspension movements such as pedaling, cornering or braking. It also affects wheel traction and the harshness or plushness of the bike.
High Speed Compression – The High Speed Compression (HSC) adjuster mainly affects compression damping during medium to fast suspension movements such as hard landings, square edged bumps, and any trail input that comes when you’re traveling at high speed. The goal is to run as little high-speed compression damping as possible without bottoming out.
