Eric Pollard is a renaissance man. He is a loving husband and father to a ripping 3 year old. He is the artist behind some of the most iconic skis of the past 10 years. He is a businessman, a film maker, a seasoned international traveler and arguably one of the most influential modern day skiers.
Born in the shadow of Mt. Hood, Eric gives much credit of his unique style to chasing around older friends who ditched racing gates to turn the entire mountain into a park. After several stand out film segments Eric started Nimbus Independent with friends Chris Benchetler, Andy Mahre and Pep Fujas.
The freedom of having complete creative control over your segments comes with a price though. Eric spends long days in front of and behind the lens and when the winter winds down he finds himself in his office editing most of the summer. But as an artist, to him, it is well worth it.
