The Fritschi Traxion Vipec Ski Crampons are designed to give you just that - TRACTION - when the skinning gets sketchy and your grip tenuous - these are essential for early morning approaches on frozen corn or security on icy, steep sidehills. Ski crampons are a tool you don't realize you need until you do; be proactive and get them now (and don't forget to put them in your pack). The Traxion is designed to fit the Fritschi Vipec binding, and has an ingenious flip-up extension to give you more snow penetration when using the binding's lifters. (Note: The Fritschi Traxion Crampons are NOT compatible with earlier Fritschi bindings like the Freeride Pro and Eagle.)
