Rossignol FKS 180 XXL Ski Bindings (115mm Brakes) 2012

Rossignol FKS 180 XXL Ski Bindings (115mm Brakes) 2012: Look close; the Rossignol FKS series bindings are what you see on every race, big-mountain, and park podium across the world. A classic design in the binding world, Rossignol combines a turntable heel with a solid metal toe piece and zero ramp angle (you are flat on the ski). This combination provides not only the most elasticity on the market but also tight precision and performance, making the Rossignol FKS 180 XXL Ski Binding a bomb proof binding that offers the most protection for your tender ligaments.

Product Details

Special Features:
With the shortest mounting zone available, the FKS allows deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flexing, turning, floating and smeering.
7 contact points with the boot for a maximum power transmission
Wide free AFD for a better precision, especially on wider skis
Recommended Use:
Recommended for advanced to expert skiers that ski big-mountain lines and hit the “big line” at Breck’s Freeway.
Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
Construction:
The all-metal reinforced Pivot toepiece has 180 degree multi-directional release with high vertical and lateral elastic travel to provide shock absorption, further reducing inadvertent release.
The FKS turntable heelpiece rotates with the boot directly under the tibia to give more consistent, reliable and manageable release.
Longest travel of any binding on the market with 45mm lateral travel in the toe and 28mm elastic travel in the heel
