Marker Griffon Schizo Ski Bindings (110mm Brakes) 2012

Marker Griffon Schizo Ski Bindings (110mm Brakes) 2012: The popular Schizo technology breaks new ground, offering skiers the ability to move their stance fore/aft 3cm in each direction for the ultimate versatility. The Marker Griffon Schizo Ski Bindings allow you to go from pipe & park to all-mountain skiing, or from hard, groomed snow to powder with the turn of a simple screw on the toe piece. For all-mountain versatility and powder riding, you want to stand further back on the ski. For switch and park riding, you want to be further forward. Marker engineers have devised a way for the skier to have both.

The Multi Stance Adjustor provides a 60mm adjustment range which can be changed quickly and easily by the skier to achieve the ideal stand position.
Recommended Use:
For Intermediate to advanced skiers who want versatility without sacrificing performance
Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
Construction:
All Marker bindings are equipped with the Gliding AFD (anti friction device) which ensures a more effective release with no ill effects from dirt, snow and ice!
The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption, reducing the risk of early release. The large support surface optimizes power transmission and allows the binding to absorb tremendous pressure.
The Inter Pivot heel construction provides fantastic retention when freeriding. The pressure is conveyed directly to the sole of the boot and, increasing optimal power transmission and energy absorption, while reducing the instance of early release.
