Rome Machine Wide Snowboard 2011

Rome Machine Wide Snowboard 2011: Let’s break this one down as simple as possible. Got bigger feet? Like jumps, jibs and butters? Like the crisp lip-poppin’ fun of carbon and Stay Positive camber? Then the Rome Machine Wide Snowboard is your board for everyday freestyle destruction. A soft flex and the added width mean one thing on a pow day—plenty of float for surfing white lines. Twin tip shape lets you throw your tricks regular or switch.

Product Details

Construction and Core:
The Rome Machine Wide Snowboard is built with a Pop Core Matrix, a smooth, dynamically-flexing poplar matrix that creates high response at a light weight
The Carbon Centerline Stringer Technology features a centerline pattern that keeps the pop dialed for freestyle and carbon for extra punch. The technology amplifies ollies with added power off the edge by channeling energy into the contact points
Straight Biax Carbon Laminate with 90 degree off-axis fibers give the buttery, playful freestyle feel that makes park session and urban session so fun. Carbon in the tip and tail give the extra pop for spinning onto a rail or ollieing off a jump.
Flex:
A soft flex with enough pop and buttery feel so you will be floating on the glorious pow days
What it likes – Jumps: 8/10, Jibs: 10/10, Pow Lines: 6/10, Carves: 5/10, Kill it all: 6/10
Shape:
True Twin Shape; throw your tricks regular or switch. The Rome Machine Wide Snowboard features a positive camber for riders addicted to pop. The positive camber loads up rider energy and kicks it back for a dynamic lively feel and big ups.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base:
Features an Impact Base that has added strength to fight against the abuse of rails and rocks. The Impact Base is an advanced extruded compound that combines high molecular density and high abrasion resistance.
Impact edges have a little more width and height for taking the abuse that park-to-peak freestyle riding can put on a board. Allows for extended play on boxes, tree bonks and unplanned impacts with rocks.
Jib Edge Bevel of -3degree base/-3degree side is the highest amount of bevel, all but eliminating hang-ups on rails, ledges, boxes and log-slides.
