Featuring an overall flex rating of 3, the articulating cuff creates a fluid forward motion by allowing the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently, thus minimizing shell distortion and maximizing heel hold and response.
Construction:
The Flex Spine™ backstay is designed to flex more easily both laterally and medially for maximum mobility while providing ample edge-to-edge support, and the Soft Flex Thin Profile 3D® Molded Tongue adjusts the profile of the tongue’s thickness to alter the flex, enhancing its ability to wrap the forefoot, reducing shell/liner stack-up for improved comfort and eliminating performance-robbing bulk.
Liner and Lacing:
The Flex™ 1 Liner balances a buttery flex with strategically placed TaiPanels™ for support where it matters most for a greater range of mobility, board feel and cushioning, with Integrated Lacing for an easier, faster lace-up.
Special Features:
The Park 1 molded EVA footbed and the outsole with EVA cushioning are lightweight and long-lasting, helping to minimize impacts so you can charge harder for longer, enhancing arch support, improving response, and absorbing shock. Rubber Ice Spikes feature a dual-density design that creates a soft, grippy outsole enhanced with stiffer spikes that dig into ice when slipping isn’t an option.
