Construction:
True Fit™ Construction delivers the best fitting, most comfortable women’s snowboard boots ever, every element of the boot – the liner, shell, inner-cuff, heel-counter, tongue, outsole – designed to create a truly tailored fit for today’s female rider.
Flex Rating and Fit:
The Medium Flex Thin Profile 3D® Molded Tongue adjusts the profile of the tongue’s thickness to alter the flex, enhancing its ability to wrap the forefoot, reducing shell/liner stack-up for improved comfort and eliminating performance-robbing bulk while the Flex Spine™ 2.0 Backstay allows a lateral flex for maximum mobility, while providing ample edge-to-edge support when its time to throw down the landing gear. The Articulating Cuff also allows the upper and lower cuff of the boot to flex independently, minimizing shell distortion and thus maximizing heel hold and response, creating a fluid flex that says true all season.
Liner and Lacing:
The Axel features a Flex2 Liner TaiPanel™ Technology, a Supercuff with J-Bar Adjustable Heel Hold System that you can add to the boot’s heel pocket for more support or remove them for more room, and Aegis™ Antimicrobial Coating that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. The upgraded Speed Zone Lacing System lets you fine-tune your fit quicker and easier, customizing the fit of the upper or lower zone in a matter of seconds with more rebound, more wrap, and better response with less effort, and even has 40% less lace friction and True Zonal Lacing control.
