Product Details

Shape:
The traditional camber rocker is built into the ski for edge-hold, control and rebound. These skis make contact with the snow at the traditional contact points regardless if the ski is unweighted, weighted or engaged in a turn.
Construction:
Torsion Box construction is a process of wrapping fiberglass around a wood core that produces light, lively skis. Torsion box has become the most widely used construction because if it’s highly versatile process, and has enabled K2 to build numerous models from entry to expert level skis. While flex and torsion vary, Torsion Box skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness and energy.
Binding Compatibility:
The marker ERP (Energy Response Plate) is designed for advanced and recreational skiers alike. The ERP is also shorter and less stiff than the men’s system allowing the ski flex to be smoother and reducing the weight by over ½ pound. This system utilizes a Two Linkage Toe and a fixed Compact2 Heel design to generate more power, precision and quickness underfoot.
Core and Flex Pattern:
Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected. The optimum location and thickness of mass differs from men to women. The aesthetic look of the Mod shape has also been customized with a softened, more shaped appearance that graphically ties into the design of the skis.
