1:1 Firm Flex PowerUP Tongue: Burton offers 1:1 lasting on every boot. It means every half and full size shell, tongue, and out sole offer a precise fit that is not as common as one would think. Drop your loot on a Burton boot and you won't be stuck with the slop of a mismatched shell and liner. PowerUP tongues feature additional dual-density material for rebound and durability.
Articulating Cuff: Allowing the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creates fluid forward motion, minimizes shell distortion, and maximizes heel hold and response.
Ankle Hammock: An inner cuff design that holds the heel into the boot heel pocket and features an external Boa® dial to adjust fit and tension, creating a unique system that offers fast, on-the-fly micro-adjustment of the inner cuff.
Liner:
Asym Imprint™ 3: Upgraded heat moldable liner with an anatomical shape to optimize fit, heel hold, and response.
DryRide Heat Cycle™ Lining: Warmth and wicking are two key traits for on-snow comfort. Burton's breathable inner-lining technology utilizes interwoven thermally activated carbon thread to capture, radiate, and reflect body heat inward to keep feet warmer while also wicking heat-robbing moisture outward. Look for varying amounts and performance level of each liner.
Hook and Loop Closure: Customize the fit around the calf or ankle, ensuring the liner is locked securely into place before tightening the outer boot shell.
Lacing System:
Dual Zone Boa®: Two distinct lace zones that can be independently adjusted with the twist of a dial for a custom fit in both the upper and lower portions of the boot.
TX3 Lacing: The best of both worlds. TX3 is a flexible and low-friction textile lace used in high-power boots to provide a soft, modern design aesthetic with lasting durability and strength.
H5 Boa® Dial: Dual direction adjustment to dial in fit. Allows a dial to be loosened or "backed off" without a full reset of lace tension.
