Built around a Spark R&D Tesla T1 machined aluminum baseplate with Toe Hooks 2.0, the Hitchhiker delivers the efficient touring performance and dependable board connection serious splitboarders demand. A responsive hi-back with Step On® Split Quick FLAD™ adjustment provides the support needed for technical descents while maintaining comfort during long climbs. Fast transitions. Tour Mode:
Split - Touring Mode: Transitions are quick and easy with the Tesla T1 system, which snaps into place to secure the binding to split pucks or touring brackets.
Ride Mode:
Split - Riding Mode: Lightweight, hassle-free, and works with any puck mounting system. The stance indicator tool makes setting the binding stance angle simple and accurate.
Baseplate:
Spark R&D Tesla T1 System: Industry-standard splitboard binding interface that completely eliminates the need for traditional loose pins and cables. By sliding sideways into offset touring brackets and locking down via a snap ramp, it provides incredibly fast, secure, and intuitive transitions in the backcountry.
Machined Aluminum: Incredibly stiff and lightweight.
Highback:
Burton Single Component Negative Lean Hi-Back: The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.
Step On Split Quick FLAD™: Lets you set your forward lean to one of four settings, or choose the tour setting for negative lean options when in touring mode. Just turn the FLAD™ to your desired position or spin it to tour mode when it's time to climb.
