The Salomon Faction Boa® Snowboard Boots are made for riders who are building something: a style, a bag of tricks, a reason to be first on the lift every morning. Inspired by sneaker design and built with FTR construction that runs 10% lighter and more compact than you'd expect, it moves with you on and off the snow without making your feet pay for it at the end of the day. A single Boa® dial locks in fit fast, while the new Feather 1.0 liner and Custom Fit multi-density foams shape to your foot in all the right places — shin, ankle, heel — where a bad fit turns a good day sideways. New this season, the Feather outsole 1.0 pairs EVA with Contagrip® rubber to shed weight without giving up traction, comfort, or the shock absorption you need when a soft flex boot is working overtime. Fit:
Fit to Ride: FTR construction is 10% lighter and 10% more compact without sacrificing comfort or durability. With 1:1 lasting every half size change in liner gets a half size change in shell.
Molded Tongue: Better fit, progressive flex, and an improved profile.
Liner:
Universal Liner: Heat moldable Ultralon foam provides a universal out-of-the-box fit with unmatched comfort for every rider.
Custom Fit: Heat moldable multi-density foams strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle, and heel.
Tri-Pattern Liner Construction: Fit to Ride liners features a 3-part pattern design offering maximum warmth, superior wrapping and hold, and total comfort.
Lacing System:
H4 Coiler™ BOA®: Effortless and fast. H4 BOA® Coiler quickly takes up lace slack, increasing speed of entry into the boot. Push the dial to engage, turn to tighten for a precise fit.
TX3 BOA® Lace: The TX3 BOA® Lace is a flexible, low-friction textile lace adapted to many fit configurations.
Footbed:
Imprint: Comfortable and long lasting insole.
Sole:
Contagrip® Rubber: Salomon's patented non-marking, super durable outsole with strategic-placed high-density compounds in areas that are prone to wear. Lower-density compounds are placed throughout to offer more flexibility and grip.
Feather 1.0: New for this season, the Feather outsole 1.0 uses a combination of EVA and Contagrip® rubber for reduced weight while delivering traction, comfort, and shock absorption.
