ITINERARY

Deadhorse Point & High Desert Singletrack

Your adventure begins high above Canyonlands National Park at Deadhorse Point State Park, where sweeping views set the tone for the days ahead. After meeting your Rim Tours guides and getting oriented, you’ll roll straight into classic Moab singletrack—rocky, scenic, and uniquely technical.

The day blends designated mountain bike trails with short 4×4 road connections, allowing access to quieter terrain and big desert vistas. After a full afternoon of riding, arrive at your first remote backcountry campsite where your guides handle camp setup and prepare a hearty dinner.

Linking Moab’s Best Backcountry Trails

Wake up to sunrise in the desert and a fresh breakfast at camp before heading out for a full day of riding. Today focuses on linking multiple singletrack systems through Moab’s backcountry, using rugged jeep roads to reach trail networks far from the crowds.

Expect a mix of flowy sections, technical rock features, and sustained riding through classic red-rock terrain. Support vehicles allow for water, food, and pacing adjustments, making this day approachable for both e-bike and non-e-bike riders traveling together.

Return to camp for a relaxed evening, good food, and desert quiet.

Classic Moab Singletrack & Scenic Camping

Location Details

Moab is one of the most iconic mountain biking destinations on the planet—and for good reason. Set against towering red rock mesas, deep canyons, and vast desert landscapes alongside the snowcapped LaSal Mountains, Moab offers a riding experience unlike anywhere else in the world.

The terrain here is defined by rock: slickrock slabs, sandstone ledges, technical step-ups, and rugged desert singletrack that rewards precision and bike handling. Trails wind through open high desert, along canyon rims, and across exposed rock formations, often with sweeping views of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks in the distance.
