Atomic Nexus 95 BOA W Ski Boots - Women's 2027

And now, for something completely new, Atomic's gone and made the Atomic Nexus 95 BOA W Ski Boots. For those who find simply getting into their boots takes hours off their ski day, but don't want to give up totally on performance, there's a new sheriff in Rear-Entrytown. With a proven BOA® H + i1 single pull lower closure and a Set and Forget upper closure that is actuated by a lever in the rear, the Nexus Series uses a new NextStep architecture (somewhere betwen alpine and cabrio) to make getting into and out of your boots easier by a factor of two or more. Does it work, and does it ski well? evo staff members have been on the Nexus since early last season and the answer is an unequivocal YES x 2.

Fit:
Last: 101 mm: Medium wide last with a tallish instep = maximum comfort
Memory Fit: Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Flex:
Flex: 95: A medium-stiff flex for solid power and response.
Liner:
Mimic Silver Liner: Features Asymmetric Liner Construction with an asym tongue, toe box, collar shape and high-quality lining materials.
Ankle Lock
3D Stretch Toe Box: Asymmetrically shaped for left and right, the new 3D Stretch Toe Box takes first fit and customization potential to the next level. Its ‘Big Toe Friendly’ construction maximizes the liner’s available length allowing for a little extra stretch when important millimeters are required to achieve the perfect fit.
Fully Heat Moldable
Easy Entry Rear Cuff: The cuff of the liner is pre-formed with a rearward curve to ease entry
Shell Materials & Design:
Cuff: Polyurethane
Shell: Polyurethane
Prolite: Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
NextStep Construction: A fusion of overlap and cabrio design with a rear-hinging cuff and single latch closure at the rear
Stance:
Forward Lean: 15˚
Ramp:
Buckles:
Set and Forget Cuff Closure: Dial in your size with the secure top buckle and use the rear latch to close the cuff, most people will find this to all that's necessary. For those with severe plantar flexion issues, it's possible to undo the front buckle and gain even easier access.
BOA® Fit System Lower Closure: Allows more even distribution of pressure over the forefoot and instep and infinite precise adjustment.
Power Strap:
35mm Velcro Strap
Sole:
Gripwalk ISO 23223 Grip Pads: Not compatible with all older binding models, binding toepiece must be marked "GW" or "Gripwalk."
Updated Gripwalk Pattern: A more aggressive tread provides extra security on ice and uneven surfaces
