Lib Tech x Lost Hydra Surfboard

With twenty-five years of small wave fish DNA distilled into one shape, the Lib Tech x Lost Hydra Surfboard is Matt Biolos's most advanced small wave board ever. A low overall rocker, snowboard-influenced sidecut outline, and split diamond tail give it speed and bite that has no business existing in ankle-high mush, while the double concave chined Hydra-hull keeps things fast and forgiving rail to rail. When the waves are bad, this thing makes them fun, simple as that. And with Lib's new Eco IMPACTO 2 Lite construction with bio-resin and upcycled foam, it's durable enough to handle beating after beating.

Product Details

Construction:
Eco IMPACTO 2 Lite Construction: Introducing Lib Tech's all new lighter, stronger Eco IMPACTO 2 Lite construction featuring Eco Lite upcycled foam wrapped in pressure treated Hexylite thermo fusion power panels, G-Glass, and Magnesium fiber fused in plant-based Bio Matrix resin system.
Shape:
Hydra Hull: The bottom contours feature a unique double concave, chined “Hydra-hull”. It allows the use of more curve through the rocker which makes proper turning and vertical surfing a lot easier by cutting through and adding lift and speed.
Fish Outline: On the outline, Lib / Lost continued with the snowboard influenced “Pelagic” side cut outline. Every board featuring this outline has worked above expectations. It noticeably locks into the wave during carves and shortens the radius of turns while both gaining speed and maintaining control.
Split Diamond Tail: Combines the best of diamonds and swallows. The notched-out center line adds bite and control to a wide tail. The double diamond tail shortens the rail line making quick and radical, power retaining turns much more manageable
Flat-ish Deck with Full and Forgiving Rails: Flat decks can remain thinner and still retain volume, and more importantly, are more flexible (even if thick) than vee or dome decks. Flex is good in low rocker boards, keeping them pliable and forgiving.
