The Hyperlite Capitol Wakeboard is what happens when Cory Teunissen's explosive riding style meets legendary shaper Scott Bouchard's design expertise, resulting in a board built for massive pop and lightning-fast releases. Blended 3-Stage Rocker launches you off the wake with authority, while sharp exit channels and a dual concave base through the belly maintain speed through carves and on approach. Rocker Type:
Blended 3-Stage Rocker: Blended 3-Stage rocker creates explosive vertical pop. Designed to boot a rider off the wake, the Blended rocker line also generates good speed into the wake without the traditional 3-Stage drag.
Shape:
Sized Up Philosophy: Advances in board construction have reduced boards' overall weight, keeping swing weight at a minimum. Combined with the wake size of today, this evolution means it's time to ride a larger board delivering more pop and airtime and more stable and secure landings.
Minimum Swing Weight Profile: Thinning of the tip/tail profile for an effortless feel while spinning flat and during inverts.
Hull:
Tip to Tail Channels: Channels running tip to tail delivering added traction and an aggressive feel on the water.
Sharp Exit Channels: Well defined sharp exit channels produce speed on approach to the wake and increase tracking for a true progressive edge hold.
Core:
Biolite 3 Core: The secret recipe HL has been perfecting since day one. This core is the gold standard in the industry and used throughout the line. Bio 3 is HL's lightest and most durable formula to date.
Laminates:
Monocoque Construction: Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination.
Layered Glass: Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass, this deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Base:
Dual Concave Base: Channeling water into two streams through the fins and out the tail allowing for a fast and loose feel.
Fins:
0.7" SS Beam 4-Pack: Beam Fins are modeled after a traditional molded-fin, providing a looser feel than P-Wing and A-Wing Fins. Beam Fins have a running length of 8.5" and can break free when desired.
