Torsion Box Control: The Torsion Box Construction is the foundation for the widest range of skis designed by K2. The Raider Skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy that can be found in all Torsion Box skis.
Triaxial Braiding: Still the best way to apply fiberglass to a wood core – the interlocking strands of fiberglass wrap the wood core to give skis more torsional rigidity and strength while maintaining the natural feel of wood core flexibility.
Mod Tech: K2’s secondary elastometric is thickest at the center to insulate skiers from vibrations and thinned out towards the tip and tail to reduce weight and increase maneuverability.
