The 08/09 Benatar is the Omatic women’s specific ode to the Ruski’s, with ice-cold stability, and performance that will break more hearts than a mail order bride. Featuring a narrower silhouette and a softer flex pattern, the Omatic Benatar Snowboard is easy to turn, but holds tight at high speeds, which means that no matter where you want to take your riding, the Omatic Benatar can handle it. VERTWALL™ sidewall technology: Omatic’s 80-degree sidewall construction angle is designed to provide the most efficient energy transfer from edge to edge and dampening properties, increasing the board’s stability while riding through any type of snow terrain. Slanted sidewall technology offers exceptional torsional rigidity, excellent snap, and all-mountain versatility.
BIAXIAL fiberglass matrix: The strands of fiberglass are positioned in 0/90 degree directions. This specific lamination increases the board’s stability at high speeds while maintaining a consistent, forgiving flex throughout the board.
VBEAM™ carbon laminates: V shaped carbon placement provides a direct link from the rider to the boards contact points for added stability, fast turning initiation and more pop for higher ollies.
INTELLIGENTCORE™ technology: INTELLIGENTcore™ is constructed by vertically laminating poplar stringers together. The poplar stringers are strategically placed down the center of the wood core to provide a torsionally more rigid and quicker feel edge to edge.
DUALRADIAL™ sidecut technology: DUALradial™ sidecut design incorporates and blends two radii for quick, smooth, arcing turns. Edge-contact points at the tip and tail are decreased, transferring the energy to the middle of the board making it less catchy and providing instant response. SINTRUDED base: The Benatar offers a unique "Sintruded base" that combines the easy to fix properties of the extruded base with the better wax absorption qualities of a sintered base.
